To be honest, I created One Nice Green Leaf for myself.
Originally, in 2015, it was because I wanted a space to practice yoga beyond a studio setting – everywhere, and for everybody. So to start, it was to offer on-site yoga classes and workshops.
In 2025, One Nice Green Leaf moved into a new space and grew to include a psychotherapy practice – again, because I wanted a rad space for therapy. One with ample space to incorporate experiential modalities such as art therapies, movement and somatic therapies, group work, meal support … I also wanted adaptable sensory elements and space to move.
So yes: I did it all for me. And, with curiosity – if good for me, maybe good for others, too?
When One Nice Green Leaf started, it was run out of a backpack… and then, a tiny house in my backyard. I offered meditation and mindful movement practices at offices, homes, clinics, conferences, events, and in the outdoors. Sessions were personalized for accessibility, inclusion, equity, and therapeutic goodness.

Now, One Nice Green Leaf still does offer meditation and mindful movement practices as well as individual and group psychotherapy. Eleven years in, I love this work, I love the space, and I super love the people I have met along the way.
If a space to heal and grow that is adaptable, accessible, equitable, colorful, and joyful … with room to roam and be creative … sounds good to you, too, please join in: explore more here, or contact me.
